Property Taxes are a rent we pay to the government. If you think you are the owner of your property try not paying your property taxes for a few years to see if your property gets "repossessed".
Property taxes here in Arizona and across the U.S. are simply rents imposed by government. If you think about this for too long you might get the idea that we (American Citizens) are not allowed to own anything. Our property can easily be taken for non-payment of "rent" or even just because someone in Government may want it (via condemnation). I want Americans to be able to own their property so let's eliminate property taxes wherever we can.
