The Obama Administration has abandoned the rule of law in favor of "fairness." As Pravda noted, so have Congress and the Supreme Court. We have lost our desire to pursue free market capitalism in favor of safety. The truth is that safety is now sold by snake oil salesmen.
News flash... the Obama Administration has insisted Zimbabwe return to the rule of law before sanctions can be lifted. Zimbabwe has ignored contractual obligations and property rights by redistributing farm products without the owner’s permission. The government has mismanaged the economy causing hyperinflation and poverty. Hoping to find solutions, Prime Minister Tsvangirai met with President Obama on Friday, June 12th 2009. "We are a potentially vibrant economy," said Tsvangirai. "What we need is credit for our businesses and some injection into our recovery budget. It will be important for the United States. to give transitional support to us, because the alternative is too ghastly if we fail."
Swapping "United States" with "Zimbabwe" and "President Obama" with " Prime Minister Tsvangirai" in the preceding paragraph shows us the truth. The political structure in the United States does one thing but says another. Why? It all has to do with dysfunctional control. Internally control is exercised via Marxism and externally via contracts.
