February 6, 2010

The program began with discussing the fallacy of taxing the wealthy.  We then discussed an economics professor who implemented a socialist grading system in his class to demonstrate how socialism fails.  Next, we presented the ideas of an Arizona legislator who wants to require businesses to sign an "ethical" statement of business in order to operate.

Finally, we focused on the new Phoenix sales tax on food, with our motto "Eat free or die!"

January 30, 2010

Nick returned from Massachusetts and kicked off the show with his exclusive Scott Brown interview.  Tom Jenney from Americans For Prosperity joined the program to talk about their local efforts called Honking for Healthcare Freedom.  Later on, Colette Rosati appeared to inform us of her new efforts called Basketball for Better Health, an attempt to help people in the Ukraine (with socialized medicine) receive quality healthcare.

January 23, 2010

The show began announcing that Nick Coons had been replaced with NOTA.  Our current events were Scott Brown's win and the Phoenix City $260 million dollar budget deficit / light rail expenditures.

Our guest was Chris Knox from the Firearms Coalition, where we touched on the Iowa controversy, Chicago v McDonald and AZ Constitutional carry.

Our last topis were the FEC Supreme court case (donations by Corporations) and weird aspects of the 2010 census -- questions that have nothing to do with apportioning representatives. Especially the Business census.

January 16, 2010

Last week, we focused on Arizona's budget problems.  This week is a continuation of that theme, this time with our guest Arizona State Treasurer Dean Martin.

January 9, 2010

Our illustrious Gov. Brewer must be a stand-up comedian.  Last Thursday at a presentation, she uttered the statement, "As we all know it's the public sector that grows the economy."

Nick Dranias joined us for the bulk of the program to discuss the Arizona state budget, which is supposed to be out of money come this February.  While some may associate this with doom-and-gloom, Nick was considering that this may be a celebration-worthy event.
